He specializes in Small Incision Cataract Surgery (SICS) and micro-incision phacoemulsification, routinely performed under topical (injection-free) anesthesia for faster recovery and enhanced patient comfort. His academic research on cataract surgeries under various topical anesthesia techniques was presented at the Tamil Nadu Ophthalmic Conference, emphasizing surgical outcomes, patient safety, and comfort. Actively involved in community eye care, he has participated in multiple outreach initiatives and performed surgeries under the National Programme for Control of Blindness (NPCB).
